Frank Kershaw – Miraculous Mosses for Garden Design!
Gardening season will soon be in full swing. Gardens will be planted by the end of the month with lots of wonderful flowers. BUT-have you thought of incorporating moss into your designs? Or, have you been battling moss in your shady areas? Maybe it’s time to embrace the moss!
Moss is more than just a ground cover. Mosses are a diverse plant group offering great utilitarian value as well as stunning design potential. Learn how to identify and use various mosses and companion plants in exciting garden applications varying from a moss lawn to green moss accents on garden sculptures. The care and propagation of mosses for both sun and shade will be included.
Frank Kerhsaw is well known gardener who lives in Toronto. His suburban garden is something wonderful to behold! Frank is an award-winning horticulturist with more than 40 years experience in the parks , environmental and horticultural fields. He is active in teaching garden design courses at George Brown College in the Garden Design Certificate programme, a partnership programme with the Toronto Botanical Garden. He has also taught at the University of Toronto in the Master of Landscape Architecture programme. Over the years Frank has visited thousands of gardens , which has fueled his passion for horticulture and design.
