They meet formally nine times a year on the second Wednesday of the month during which they try to either bring in speakers or go to horticultural establishments for more ‘hands on’ activities. They exchange ideas, plants and knowledge within the group and are always keen to keep up with the rapidly changing face of horticulture. They also visit gardens and interesting nurseries and occasionally organize horticultural bus trips.
