Summer Flower Show – August 3rd, Scout Building 9-3pm Lakefield

The Lakefield  Horticultural Society presents its annual Summer Flower Show Thursday August 3rd 9:00am to 3:00pm at the Lakefield Scout building (next to the Community Centre) 13 Water street N. in Lakefield. FREE admission! Donations gladly accepted by this charitable organization.

Guests are very welcome to drop by and enjoy the fruits (er flowers) of the gardeners labour.  Flowers of all kinds will be on show as well as a variety of floral designs and photography exhibits. There are some very talented gardeners and photographers in the Lakefield Horticultural Society, so this event is sure to be enjoyed!

Drop by, meander and enjoy the beauty and scents of the wonderful flowers. The rain has brought out LOTS of beautiful lush flowers which can be thoroughly enjoyed in this venue. Members of the Horticultural Society will be on hand to answer any questions guests may have.

Also, after your visit to the flower show, have a look at the groups new Pollinator garden located in Isabel Morris Park. The flower show is also conveniently on the same day as the Lakefield Farmer’s Market. Enjoy a beautiful relaxed day touring the flower show, the pollinator garden and the Farmer’s Market. Bring a lunch and picnic under the shelter or grab a snack at the market.
