We had some wonderful volunteers who planted our gardens in the Village of Lakefield recently.
Mark Irvine from the Village was a great help. He hauled bags of soils and brought the brawn! Fantastic.
Here Mark and our President Anne Stone are putting together the containers in front of the Chamber office.
David, Ceci and Bev working hard on the Cenotaph bed.
It was a beautiful day for planting. Wendy, Ruth and Jacquie are working on our Sundial garden.
Thanks also to the Canoe and Paddle for the after work refreshments. They were much appreciated by the members!
Funds raised from the Society’s annual Victoria day plant sale as well as the Antique + Vintage Sale and Flower Show are our main fundraisers which pay for all of these beautiful plants! Hanging baskets are still to come!
